Mossmulloch Wind Farm Scoping Request Submitted

Force 9 Energy, has issued a Proposal of Application Notice and requested a scoping opinion from South Lanarkshire Council for the proposed Mossmulloch Wind Farm, located southwest of Strathaven.  The request is made on behalf of Wind Power North Three Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary company of Vestas Development A/S, Force 9 Energy's development partner for this project. Our initial assessments for the site suggest it could accommodate up to 6-turbine wind farm with turbines up to 200m to blade tip, with an output capacity of up to 43.2MW. 

The Scoping Request seeks feedback on the development proposals, the environmental topics that will be addressed in an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) which will accompany any subsequent application for the development and the methodologies proposed to undertake these assessments.
