Supplementary Information Submitted for Clash Gour Wind Farm

Force Energy, project developers for the Clash Gour Wind Farm, have submitted Supplementary Information (SI) to The Scottish Ministers for the proposed Clash Gour Wind Farm.  The original application for the 48 turbine wind farm, located approximately 12km south of Forres, in Moray, was submitted to the Scottish Government’s Energy Consents Unit (under the Electricity Act 1989) in December 2018.

 

The SI includes details of minor changes to the proposed onsite infrastructure to include for more lengths of floating tracks across peatland, further information on peat management and cultural heritage, a new Borrow Pit Strategy, a revised Landscape and Visual assessment including an assessment of a proposed small, 4m tip height increase to 20 turbines in the eastern part of the proposed development and a revised Habitat Management Plan (HMP).
