Deuchries Wind Farm Exhibition

Force 9 Energy held a public exhibition in October to allow the public to come and view the proposals for the Deuchries windfarm proposal. Over the course of the day about 150 people attended the public exhibition to view the proposals and most filled in a questionnaire to provide comments on the proposal on the day. The questionnaire showed that 48.7% of respondees are supportive of the proposed windfarm whilst 18% were undecided and 32% were not supportive. Specific comment was made about visibility of the windfarm to Aberchirder and we will be looking at this issue carefully and taking on board other comments received to ensure that our proposals for the site, both in terms of numbers and location of turbines, fully take cognisance of the views received from the exhibition.
